Frequently Asked Questions
What is Whole Body Health and other common questions about Allied Wellness.
What is Whole Body Health?
Whole Body Health takes into consideration the mental, physical, emotional and environmental health of your patients. There are five fundamental wellness and lifestyle principles that are well-researched and proven to influence healing. They are hydration, nutrition, sleep, stress management and movement. By incorporating these into your treatment plan, the healing process can be enhanced – helping patients get back to living their best life, sooner.
What will my patients get out of the program?
By following the Fundamentals of Healing Program, patients will be educated and empowered to make stronger decisions about their overall health and wellbeing. When areas of hydration, nutrition, sleep, stress management and movement are addressed – in conjunction with your clinical treatment plan – patients can begin to make sustainable lifestyle changes. They may also feel that you have their big picture in mind as well as the immediate treatment or medications prescribed. After all, building trust and long-term relationships is important for both patients and practitioners alike.
As a result of sharing the Fundamentals of Healing print, digital and video resources with your patients your clinic can:
- Cover important lifestyle factors quickly and easily
- Increase your ability to focus on long-term, preventative health
- Add value to your patients’ experience at your clinic
- Achieve better patient engagement, compliance and outcomes
- Improve patient retention and positive word of mouth
- Have an impact on community and global health.
What does the Fundamentals of Healing Program cost?
For a one-off payment of $A397, your practice receives life-long access to this suite of print, digital and video resources.
Can I opt-out?
Yes, once you have purchased the Fundamentals of Healing Program you can decide if or when you would like to share the resources with your patients. However, we recommend contacting Allied Wellness first to see if we can help with any queries before you opt-out.
Is my patient information kept confidential?
Yes. Allied Wellness is committed to protecting the privacy of patient information and to handling your personal information in a responsible manner. This is in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012, the Australian Privacy Principles and relevant State and Territory privacy legislation (referred to as privacy legislation).
How will the program improve patient compliance?
The Program encourages patients to track and measure their own actions. This makes them more aware of their decisions and the actions that affect their health and wellbeing. The program also helps identify what they are missing out on in their life due to injury or illness. By highlighting a motivating reason to resolve their condition, patients are more likely to comply with your recommendations.
